THE STORY
Welcome to the future. Although science has revolutionised the art of organ farming, people are sicker than ever, healthcare systems around the world having reached their limit for what they can do. Want a new organ from the public services? Dream on! Their list of requirements is as long as it is ridiculous. Give up smoking, drinking, and sugar? Might as well die!
Good thing there’s another way. There’s a place, a city of wonders, where such nonsense won’t be tolerated. Transplantica! Endless opportunities and nonexistent regulations have drawn in organ growers and doctors alike from all over the world, and the patients have followed.
You are a surgeon about to open the doors to your very own transplantation clinic, free from the bureaucracy and ethics boards of your past life. The organ factories are as busy as ever, and the streets are filled with people looking to exchange their money for a new life. You may not be the only doctor in town, but you’re surely the most clever. Making a nice chunk of profit in all of this can’t be that hard, right?
